After my shower I go into my room. I dry off and get dressed. Putting on a pair of tight blue jeans, and baby blue v neck long sleeved shirt. I put on a pair of white sneakers , and toss my hair up into a pony tail.
I grab my phone and charger and my laptop putting them into a carrying bag slinging it over my shoulder and go downstairs.
I peek out the front door and two cars I don’t recognize are in the driveway. Squirrels. I think to myself rolling my eyes realizing the boys are still upstairs with their girls.
I look around the lower part of the house for Reed , and can’t find him anywhere. I step outside without my coat and go down to the garage to see if he’s out there and sure enough he is.
“Hey Reed” I say announcing my presence as he looks up from a low crate he’s sitting on while working on his bike.
His eyes widen only slightly and because I’m a female , I don’t miss the way his eyes go from my face to my tits and directly back to my face.
“Morning Ariella” he says wiping his dirty hands on a rag.
“What can I do for ya?” He asks , standing up and walking over to me.
“Umm” I say as I think about what one of the boys said to me “I bet our dad even wants to fuck you”. I chew my lip and clear my throat. I look up at him, cause he towers over me, they all do.
“I was wondering if I could borrow the truck for a bit? Or one of the boys trucks ? I just wanted to head down into town and get some coffee, get on my laptop in that little cafe?” I say.
He nods. “Nancy’s” he says naming the cafe.
“Yeah, I think that’s the one.” I say.
“Sure sweetheart. You sure you don’t want me or one of the boys to take you?” He asks.
I shake my head. “No that’s alright , thanks though. But I think I just want to hang out , have a coffee and chat with a few friends , before , ya know. Things get all snowpocalypse up here.” I say.
He laughs , and I don’t miss the second glance he makes at my chest. And I dismiss it as him only being human, they’re breasts, and this shirt does show maybe a bit too much cleavage , so. I don’t let it bother me.
“Sure” he reaches into his back pocket and hands me a set of keys. “I have to go into town around four but that should be plenty of time yeah?” He asks.
Being that it’s 8am. I nod and smile.
“Yeah. More than enough , I should be back way before then.” I say and grab the keys.
“Drive safe and call me when you get into town at the shop, and not to be overbearing but let me know if you go anyplace else alright?” He says.
I nod and out of respect I agree. “Of course. Thanks Reed.” I say and walk back upstairs into the house and grab my bag and head out.

I’m at the coffee shop for about 30 minutes and just scrolling through Instagram on my phone when a guy comes up to my table.
“This seat taken?” He asks holding a hot steaming cup of coffee.
I look around to the dozen other empty tables and seats at the counter but shake my head with a polite smile.
He’s probably thirty something , and is wearing light jeans and work boots and a white shirt with a buffalo plaid jacket. He’s got some light scruff going on and has dark short hair with just light peppering of gray hairs near his sideburns and hairline and his facial hair. He pulls out the chair in front of him and sits down across from me.
“You HAVE to be the girl staying with Reed” he says.
I cock my brow. “This really is a small town.” I smile and so does he.
“I picked up a bike from Reed last week, he told me you’d be coming to live with him.” He says and he licks his lips and gives me a slight once over and then looks back up at me and smiles.
“He’s right. You look just like your mom.” The guy says.
I nod. And wonder how strangers are so comfortable brining her up when they know she died.
“Yeah. Well.” I shrug.
“Spitting image. Just. Younger.” The guys says lifting his coffee taking a sip and looking around the table at my laptop and phone that I politely set down.
“Need a coffee?” He asks. “Or a muffin or something?”
“A coffee would be great.” I say. Because even though Reed gave me cash and my own card , I’m still cheap, and if this stranger wants to buy me coffee. So be it.
“How do you take it?” He ask standing up.
“Just black please” I answer and his brows raise in surprise and grins.
“Alright” he says and walks to the counter.
I pick up my phone and see one of my friends has replied to my message I sent.
“Like HOW hot?” Kelsie replies to my message that told her of my impending doom of being stuck with my hot step brothers all winter.
“Like. Hot. Hot.” I say. Then find a picture through my mother’s Facebook and send it to her.
“Damn Ari!!” She replies along with a heart eye emoji.
“I bet they have HUGE cocks. They really give off that big dick energy” she types with an eggplant emoji.
I reply with lol and tell her I’ll text her again later when the stranger walks back over with a large cup of coffee and a plate with some muffins on it.
”I know you just said coffee, but figured I’d get you a muffin , but then I didn’t know what kind you’d like, so I got you three.” He says setting them down along with the coffee.
I give a little laugh and I blush, because it’s kind of cute. Even if this guy might almost be old enough to be my dad.
“That’s nice of you. Thank you.” I say sitting up and leaning over slightly to grab my coffee and take a peek at the muffins.
“There’s banana nut , blueberry and chocolate chip” he says pointing them out as he lists them.
I nod. “Well they all look good I say.”
He smiles and gestures to the plate. “Well they’re all yours.”
“Well I can’t take food from strangers” I say with a little smile. “Do you have a name ?” I ask as lift the chocolate chip muffin.
He laughs. “Oh sorry , yeah. That might be nice right ? “ he chuckles.
“I’m Luke, Jacobs.” he says and reaches out his hand. I smile taking it and shake his hand.
“Nice to meet you Luke Jacobs , I’m Ariella ..Donovan” I say with a little smirk and break off a piece of the top of the muffin and pop in in my mouth.
I don’t know what it is about this town, or the guys in it. Maybe they’re just excited by “fresh meat” but Luke is watching as put the food in my mouth and I see him sit up a little as I lick a crumb from my lip. I smile innocently , and maybe, just maybe I’m being a flirt , because Asher left me with the equivalent of female blue balls this morning and I can’t lie, I get off on watching guys squirm. And it seems more than easy to excite the men in this town.
“So. You’re eighteen right?” He asks. Which is the most respectful way for him to ask if I’m legal for him to fuck without being that blunt.
I nod and pop another piece of the muffin into my mouth.
“Mhm” I say as I chew and lift my coffee and take a sip.
“What about you Luke Jacobs? Are you eighteen?” I tease knowing damn well he’s not.
He laughs. “Thirty two” he says.
“You’re a very handsome thirty two.” I say.
“Is thirty two so old that I shouldn’t be handsome anymore?” He cringes. “You’re making me feel old here Donovan” he says and I smirk.
I shake my head and bite my lower lip with a smile.
“Not too old at all.” I say with a little quirk of my brow, and i watch him swallow hard.
“You have any plans for the day?” He asks and I shake my head.
“Just hanging out here for a bit then probably heading back.” I say.
“What about tonight?” He lifts a brow.
“What about tonight?” I say lifting my coffee taking another sip.
He shrugs and leans his arms on the table.
“Would you like to have dinner with me?” He asks.
My eyebrows lift in surprise.
“Me?” I ask.
He laughs. He nods and he smirks.
“What, like a date?” I ask cocking my head slightly.
“Yes , like a date.” He says and I chew my lip remembering Ashers warning. Not that I plan on spreading my legs for this guy, but...yeah okay. That’s all I’m thinking about.
“Sure.” I say with a little smile and he grins nodding.
“Then it’s a date. Seven alright?” He asks.
I nod.
“I’ll pick you up at 7 then.” He winks.
“But I have to get back to work. I’ll see you later Donovan” he smiles.
I smile back. “See you later.”
“Seven” he says.
I laugh and nod. “Seven. I’ll be ready.”
It’s 11:15 when I pack up my shit and grab a to go bag for the other two muffins that my apparently new admirer had left with me.
I thanked the woman at the counter and left a ten in her tip jar and headed out with extra free cup of coffee she gave me.
Walking to the truck parked along the sidewalk.
“What the hell Ari?!” I hear a guy yell making me stop in my tracks. I look up and turn my head just a bit down the street as West and Cade walk toward me like I’m in some kind of trouble.
“Uh , hi guys” I say confused at the looks they’re giving me.
“You just leave without telling anyone where you’re going?!” West scowled coming right up to me.
“Okay first of all...ew with your macho bullshit, second..I told Reed, hes the one who gave me the truck.” I say.
“You didn’t tell US.” He growls.
I cock my brow huff a laugh.
“Ummm last I checked. You weren’t my keeper. “ I say annoyed and keep walking to truck as the boys follow me.
West huffs and Cade just leans up against the back of the truck.
“Ashers pissed” Cade tells me.
I bend my pointer finger and twist my knuckle near my eye fake crying.
“Poor Asher” I whine and then roll my eyes dropping my hand and pulling open the drivers side door to Reeds truck.
“He’ll get over it.” I say as I throw my bag and purse into the passenger seat of the truck.
“He wants you back home, now.” West says.
I let out an incredulous laugh.
“Tell Asher if he wants to make me call him daddy. This isn’t what I had in mind” I say.
Cade laughs and West just scowls and rounds the truck and pushes my bag and purse to the floor and gets in the truck.
“See you at home Cade.” West snaps.
I roll my eyes. Because I was already planning on going back to the house but now it seems like I am because they are telling me too and that irritates me.
“Just so we’re clear. I’m going back to the house cause that’s where I was going. NOT , because you and Asher think you can tell me what to do. “ I say pulling my door shut and turning on the truck.
“Just drive Ari” he growls.
I roll my eyes at the audacity of him and Asher. And I thank god that it seems to only be the two of them that want to play babysitter to me and not Cade or Reed.
It’s a silent ride home.
