The boys all leave so I can shower, giving me glances as they look back over their shoulders, all of their eyes telling me they're still angry.

I sigh and close my door and then get into the shower. 

I make sure the water is almost too hot to stand under, as I stand there with the water running down over me. I close my eyes and think of Reed, think of the boys, and let out a heavy sigh as I think about all the ways this winter could possibly pan out. 

When I'm done in the shower, I put on my bathrobe and walk out into my bedroom. 

The last male in the house that I'd expect to be waiting for me is sitting on my bed. 

"Cade" I say as I walk out and he looks up. 

"Hey" he says. 

He doesnt have a mischievous look to him like West or Asher does when they look at me. 

I take the towel from my hair and starts to squeeze my wet hair with it. 

"Everything ok?" I ask as I walk over to him sitting on the edge of my bed. 

"Our mom left months after I was born." Cade says and I pause, and lower my towel, slinging it over the back of the chair at my little vanity.  I walk to where he's sitting and sit down beside him, 

"I'm sorry. That sucks." I say and reach my hand up to his shoulder and rub it gently. 

"My dad didn't really date anyone after her....not until your mom moved back." he says. 

I nod. 

"She was the first mom figure we had growing up. Asher remembers our mom a little but West and me were too young to remember her. So..your mom, was..like a mom to us when she was...here" he says. 

I nod, and Cade isn't about to cry, he's not getting emotional, but I wrap my arm around him anyways. 

"I'm sorry you guys lost her." I say. 

Cade looks at me and shakes his head. 

"You lost her too Ari." he says. 

"I know." I say and chew my lip, wondering if things like heaven exist and if she was as they say, looking down on me, when I went to bed with her husband. 

"I just...It still has to be hard for you guys too." I say. 

He shakes his head. "It is, but that's not why I'm telling you about all of this." 

He turns and my arm slips from him as he faces me and looks me dead in the eyes. 

"You can't leave us Ari." he says. 

"What? I'm not." I say reaching out and placing a hand on his leg. 

"Having you, is like having her back." he says and I chew my lip. He lets out the slightest laugh. 

"Well, we feel SLIGHTLY different about you than we did her.." he says raising his brows. I let out a little laugh. 

"I sure hope you didnt have the hots for my mom." I say and scrunch my nose. 

Cade laughs," she was pretty, but..no. None of us thought of her like that." He says. 

"It was just crazy to see you actually here...we all knew you looked just like her...but it was just so weird to see you in person...and last night.....that was just a real dick move not coming home." he says.

I let out a sigh. "I know Cade, I'm sorry. I really didn't even expect you guys to be that upset...I didn't know that you..cared , like that , I thought it was all about Asher just wanting to keep me from guys and stuff. " I shrug. 

"Of course we care." Cade says. 

"You should have seen Asher." he adds. 

I look down and don't ask him to elaborate. 

"I've never seen him so freaked out." he says. 

"God, last night, just sucked." he says. 

I reach over and grab his face with one hand and lift his face gently so he looks at me. 

"I'm truly sorry." I say and he nods. "I'm not going anywhere alright?"

He nods again. 

His eyes dart between mine and then down to my lips and Cade leans in, tilting his head slightly and kisses me softly. 

"We need you Ari." he says against my mouth and I inhale slightly as his hand reaches to my side farthest from him and gently yanks me onto his lap, straddling him. I smile down at him as he looks down at my parted robe, and naked ass in his lap. 

"Eyes up here pal" I tease and he lets out a slight laugh and looks up to me. 

His hands rest on my hips as he lifts his chin and I lean down kiss him. 

Cade's mouth is sweet and soft, and gentle and his hands move slightly rubbing at my hips as we kiss slowly.

Cade doesn't make a move, instead he sits there, his hands staying in the same spot, only squeezing or rubbing my hips as we kiss. He doesnt try to take it further and I part his lips with my tongue, and continue to just kiss him slowly, softly. 

After a few minutes, and our mouths both puffy and red theres a knock at my open door. 

I lift my mouth from Cade's and look up to see West and Asher in the doorway, both of them cocking a brow. 

Asher clears his throat, and West grins. 

"and, what's going on in here?" West asks leaning against the door frame as Cade looks over his shoulder at his brothers, he gives a slight chuckle and I smile at West. 

"Apologizing." I say and grab Cade's face and plant a quick kiss on his mouth and then slide off his lap. 

"I didn't get that good of an apology." West teases. I laugh slightly and roll my eyes, and am glad they don't plan on dragging out the argument. 

Cade stands and grabs my hips lightly from behind leaning down to place a kiss on my cheek from the side. I turn my face and smile at him.

"Because Cade is sweeter than you are. " I tease West and he scoffs as if he's offended. 

"Well when you're done wiping Cade's tears , we want to go for breakfast at the diner." West says.

Cade let's out a chuckle at his brothers little jab. 

I laugh and nod. "Alright, I just need to dry my hair and get dressed." I tell West and look to Asher as well, they both nod. I turn and walk to my closet, noticing all three boys standing there still. 

I cock my brow. "Alone." I say with a laugh. 

"Rude." West says and Cade laughs and they walk out. Asher lingers looking at me like he wants to say something, so I walk over to him and let those piercing ice blue eyes look down at me. I feel my core tighten as his hands come to my waist. 

I cock my head to the side slightly as I slide my hands up his chest over his shirt, and slip my hands around his his tattooed neck. 

"I'm sorry I worried you." I say. 

He gives a slight nod, and his hands grab my waist a bit harder. 

"Cade told me...about your mom.....and then...my mom...and how you all thought....I was going to leave too.." I say and Asher fails at trying to hide his concern or hurt in his eyes. 

"You can't get rid of me that easy Asher Stone." I say with a little smile. 

"No matter how furious you have made me so far." I give a little a grin and he fights one of his own, the corners of his mouth twitch. 

"Now kiss me so I can hurry up and get ready." I say and that twitch grows slightly wider. 

He leans down and kisses me on the forehead. 

"A real one." I say and pull on his neck and he shakes his head. 

"You're in the dog house" he says. 

I roll my eyes and laugh. "Fine." I say letting him play his little, ill teach you a lesson, games. I pull him down and push up on my toes and steal a kiss anyways and he gives me a little glare. 

"I did not consent to that." he says gruffly, but with a little smirk. 

"you still wanted it babe" I give a playful wink and then push him from my doorway, and he let's me and I close the door.

I put on a pair of tight dark blue skinny jeans , camel colored thigh high boots , and loose fitting white boat neck sweater, and even though my jeans are blue I added a cheap plastic baby blue stretch choker around my neck. After my hair is blow dried , I put it up in a high pony, I do my makeup and grab my purse and go down stairs. 

"You'll need a coat" Reed says as him and the boys all sit on the couch in the living room. 

"I'll be okay" I say as the boys and Reed all stand. 

Asher opens the closet in the entry way and flips through their coats and pulls out a navy blue mens winter coat, that has Camel colored lining, and its the fluffy kind of lining. 

"It even matches your outfit Princess" he says handing it to me. 

I laugh and look at him and then Reed and the other boys. 

"We're not going until you put a coat on." West says. 

I roll my eyes and grab the coat slipping it on. I'm sure on them it's a simple waist length jacket, but on me its extra loose and hangs almost mid thigh. 

"Adorable." West says. I smile and the boys and I walk out with Reed and I catch Asher looking back at me as we walk toward the trucks. 

"I'll take mine and meet you all down there." Reed says. 

"You want company?" I ask and Reed looks up and he smiles as he normally would. 

"Sure sweetheart." he says and Iooks back to the boys who all look like I've just shot a puppy. 

I give them a little frown. "I don't want him to drive to breakfast alone!" I whisper and then walk over to Reed's truck as he holds open the door. 

The boys all grumble getting into Asher's truck and they pull out of the drive before me and Reed do, because his truck needs a few extra minutes to warm up. 

I rub my hands together in front of the heater and then Reed grabs them holding them in his hands. 

"How are your hands so warm?" I laugh as his hands rub mine and he cups them blowing warm breath onto them.

He shrugs. "You ladies are always cold." he says. 

I laugh because it's true and I feel the bite of cold on the tip of my nose. 

"Come here" he says grabbing me, scooting me across the flat seat of his truck. 

I curl up into him as he puts his arm around me. 

I wrap my right arm around his chest and hug myself to him and he kisses the top of my head. 

"Sorry that the boys went off on you like that." he says. 

"Mm, it's fine" I say and shiver a little.

"They haven't said as much, but , I know they like you Ariella...and i mean...more than like you." he says and I shrug. 

"And I'm sure..being that I know my boys pretty well, that maybe they've already tried to make a move or somethin on you" he says. 

"But, I dont want you to think you have to do anything, with any of us, that's not why I asked you here. " he says. 

I smile and lift my head and look at him. 

"I know that Reed, but thanks." I say and push up and kiss his lips. He smiles looking back at me. 

"Is it okay....what we did last night and this morning? I don't want to make you uncomfortable being here. " he says. 

I smile. 

"It was more than okay , I had a good time." I say. 

"I just get lonely since your mom, ya know?" he says.

I nod and pat a hand on his chest. "I get it." I say. 

"I get lonely too." I say and I lean up again and kiss him, letting my mouth linger this time, and his lips push back. 

"Mmm" I moan against his mouth, because all of them, every single one is a  great kisser, each of their mouths, once on mine, make me feel safe. I hate it. 

Reed sighs and pulls backs. "Well, we better knock that off before I get ideas in my head. " 

I give a little laugh and stay right next to him as he puts the truck in drive and starts down the road. 

As we drive down, he lets me lean against him, and lifts his arm, wrapping it around me, driving slower than normal, with one hand. There's no snow on the road that stuck, but I know it's because he wants to take his time and so do I, because I'm enjoying sitting next to him, with him. 

When we hit the bottom of the mountain I sit up straight, and Reed smiles, because I think he's grateful that he didn't have to tell me to move back to my seat incase anyone in town saw. Reed doesnt have to say it, I know he doesnt want anyone getting ideas about him and his late wifes daughter. 

We all pile into a large round circular booth, with me in the middle, Cade and West to my direct sides, with Reed next to Cade and Asher next to West. 

Birdie is our waitress and she's just as fucking charming as she was the other night when I met her. She doesn't seem to judge me for the mishap of screwing around with Britneys boyfriend, which, in my defense, was not something I knew. 

After she takes our order, she comes back and sits next to Asher, but surprisingly talks to me. 

"So, I know you don't really know any of us in town...and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight?" Birdie says, in her chirpiest chirp. And god, I wish I could hate it, but, it's fricken adorable. 

"Oh, sure." I say with a nod and then shrug. "I don't have any plans tonight."

"Awesome!" she beams and I look to the side and catch West making a wide eyed look and then chuckling slightly. Cade laughs slightly too as Birdie walks away. 

"What? What did I miss?" I ask and then Cade and West laugh even harder and I notice Asher's grip on glass of orange juice and wonder if he's about to break it and bust his hand open. 

Asher shakes his head and nudges West hard in his ribs. 

"Ow! Fucker." West says grabbing his side. 

"Nothing." Asher says and Cade laughs across the table, 

"Screw you both." Asher mumbles. 

I look between all of them and Reed, and even he is chuckling slightly. 

"Asher was just telling us all before we left the house.." West starts and howls when Asher gives him another jab with his elbow. 

Cade and Reed chuckle. And I can't help but laugh slightly at the fact they're almost in hysterics. 

"Tell her about your dream Ash" Cade laughs. 

Asher growls. 

"You totally cock blocked Ash in his dream, and stole his chick from him." Cade says. 

I laugh. "What?" I look to Asher who is groaning and lifting his hands to his face, dragging them down. 

"I guess things got pretty explicit.." Cade says. West tries to kick him under the table but I yelp and jump when he accidentally kicks me instead. 

"Shit. Sorry" he says wincing. 

"ow fuck" I say reaching down rubbing my leg.  Asher looks so sorry, and his brows pinch together. Then I smirk. 

"It's fine...give me your girl and we'll call it even." I say with a wink. 

Ashers lips tighten slightly and the rest of them crack up. Laughing throwing their heads back, and I just give Asher a playful little smile.
