We're in a gated community and currently driving up a long driveway after passing another gate to what I assume is his property. I was going to die. He was going to kill me, if not today, eventually. He says he was undecided, but I knew better. I didn't know men like him, but I knew already that he was heartless. Cold. Dark. He'd already killed other women. And even though he didn't answer my question, I had a feeling that he didn't feel bad about it either. I hated him. He'd killed peoples mothers and fathers. Maybe most of them deserved it, like the man of his that almost raped me before he put a bullet in his brain. But I couldnt help but think of the innocent people like me, who he just considered a "loose end".
Then I wonder if the people who murdered my parents even thought about the fact they might have had a little girl or a little boy at home waiting for them. That they ruined more lives than the ones they took.
I'm silent again as a man that looks much like the one that has kidnapped me. Except his eyes are brown, he's a bit shorter, and his features aren't as sharp.
He doesn't touch me, but gestures for me to step out and then gestures with his hand for me to walk up the steps to the massive foretress of a mansion that sits atop a large hill like a castle.
There's several different vehicles parked in the roundabout drive way. My captor and furture murderer is already up the stairs and walking in as I trail behind with the man who let me out of the car.
I pull the sleeves of my hoodie down and curl my fingers around the ends of the sleeves and then hug my arms around myself as the guy closes the door behind me.
"Come with me." he says and his voice has the same light accent as the man who took me but has now dissappeared somewhere inside of this house.
I hear voices somewhere else in the house, and one of them is his.
I follow the man beside though , who is just as scary, but seems the slightest bit LESS scary of the two.
I'm taken upstairs to a large room. It's dark. There's lights on, but everything inside is dark. The walls, the furniture, the bedding on the massive bed. The art on the walls. Everything is shades of black or dark red.
"He'll be up for you when he is done." the man says and I just nod.
"Is this...is this his room?" I ask.
The man nods and leaves and I decide not to touch a single thing. I just stand there. I stand and wait.
